Vail Valley combines some of the best alpine resorts in the world with a small-town, European feel and a variety of cultural and recreational opportunities. Vail and Beaver Creek played host to the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships, and Beaver Creek is a regular stop on the World Cup circuit with its legendary Birds of Prey course. Vail Valley is surrounded by the White River National Forest, with Gore Creek flowing east to west through the center of it all. After a day spent on either one of Vail Valley's renowned ski resorts, visitors will find three base areas, world-class dining, luxurious lodging and a lively nightlife scene to welcome them home. Vail Valley is conveniently located along Interstate 70, a couple hours west of Denver International Airport and in close proximity to Eagle County Airport.
