Bardzo odpowiednie dla rodzin

Świetne narciarstwo przełajowe i alpejskie w Raudalen. Możliwość uprawiania narciarstwa backcountry w Jotunheimen i zjazdów na nartach randonee na pobliskie szczyty bezpośrednio z wioski – wyjątkowe.

Ponownie w Beitostolen, z Wielkiej Brytanii. Niesamowite ośrodki rodzinne, idealne dla dzieci i początkujących, bardzo przyjazny personel, wszyscy mówią po angielsku, mała szkółka narciarska. Prawie żadnych kolejek na stokach, a trasy doskonale przygotowane. Można też zabrać ze sobą na narty. 2 minuty spacerem od Gjestegaarden do stoków. Wypożyczalnia nart i butów dobrej jakości. Wiele fajnych atrakcji po nartach, takich jak przejażdżki husky, narciarstwo biegowe, jazda konna i zjazdy na pontonach. Na pewno tu wrócimy.

Doskonałe trasy narciarstwa biegowego, z efektywnym przygotowaniem, które można śledzić na stronie internetowej Skioret. Trasy są dość wymagające, z częstymi restartami i znacznymi nierównościami. Dobre różnice wysokości, niewiele płaskich odcinków. Teren jest rozległy, ale trudno zboczyć z utartych szlaków, ponieważ wyprawa w kierunku Yddin, a nawet Rogne, wymaga bardzo dobrej kondycji.

Vi har været her i uge 1. Hele tiden problemer med lifterne, og lukkede lifter. Selvom lifterne skulle være åbent 10-15:30 åbnede de typisk først kl 10:15 el. senere. Der er eksempelvis ikke puder langs stolperne ved tallerkenliftene, og flere af lifterne drypper olie. Ok hvis man er helt begynder men ikke noget at råbe hurra over. Det skal desuden bemærkes at stoleliften ved “Raudalen” er lukket.

En mysig by som jag besökt sedan mitten på 70-talet åtskilliga gånger. Det har byggts många nya bäddar, men det ynkligt lilla lift systemet är i stort sätt oförändrat, här behövs satsas stort om ortens populäritet skall fortsätta.

We (mum,dad and two teenage boys) first went to Beitostolen in January 2016 then feb 2017 skiing and also in the summer of 2017. The town is stunning in winter and summer with excellent restaurants, cafes, super markets. We have stayed in the the bergo cabins and the hovis and found them excellent you can also go swimming in the Radisson blu hotel. The locals are helpful and friendly. The skiing is lovely with good slopes, plenty of snow and there is no queuing at the lifts. Beito-aktiv have great activities to pick from and I would highly recommend. We are heading back in feb 2018 and so far they have had plenty of snow. We stayed over the Christmas break at the Radisson blu in Beitostolen. Second time we have visited this resort, we came back because we loved the family friendly feel of this resort. Lots to do as well as skiing for that complete winter holiday, we enjoyed ice fishing an evening meal fireside in a Tepee, airboarding (sliding down the slopes on a inflatable board). The centre of the resort is compact and our hotel was under 100m to the lifts and shops. By the second day our kids 10 & 13 were out skiing by themselves (most of the ruins end up straight outside the hotel) We were half board and the food was excellent, it was a set menu and there was a kids option. If your after 100s of miles of hard core runs and thumping discos this isn't the place for you. But if you have a family learning to ski or just wanting a winter experience think you will like this place. The runs are not miles and miles long but on the other hand we didn't have to stand in lines at all!
